About the project

Innnes, the leading importer and wholesaler of high-quality food products in Iceland, is embarking on an exciting venture: the construction of a new distribution center in Reykjavik.  The new warehouse will not only house an office area but also feature three distinct temperature zones for food storage: a deep-freeze zone, a fresh products area and a dry goods section.

The warehouse operates using a combination of manual and automated systems. Advanced conveyors and full-automatic shuttle solutions streamline processes primarily in the deep freeze and dried goods zones. The building, with an outer geometry of 140m x 60m x 33m, boasts a robust steel framework and in-situ concrete. In terms of usable space, it offers an impressive 15000 sq. meters.

This state-of-the-art distribution centre promises efficiency, precision, and seamless food storage for the company.
