Over the years, the Trefjar Ltd. company expanded its operations significantly and required additional space for the production of craft fibreglass fishing boats in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland.
The new 2,000 m² building was constructed using a steel frame and sandwich panels. It was partitioned into several areas, including boat production in the main hall, a workshop, storage, toilet facilities, an office, and a cafeteria.
We have delivered the complete design scope of work including:
design of the foundation,
main and secondary steel structure,
overhead crane girders,
roofing and façade,
preparing architectural detail drawings.
In addition to that, together with Contractor AS/Sudulist ehf., we supplied all materials to the project including anchor bolt sets, steel structure, sandwich panels, 3 overhead cranes, industrial gates, doors, windows and other miscellaneous materials.
